Cruisin for Critters is Back!

On Sunday, August 17, 2008, the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter (FMAS) will hold their 3rd annual "Cruisin' For Critters" fundraiser. We welcome to include all makes and models of motorcycles. This year the ride will be a Poker run, another fun way to enjoy participating in raising funds that will provide care for Manchester’s homeless and neglected animals.

Registration for this event will begin at the Manchester Animal Shelter (FMAS), located at 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH at 9:30 a.m. with free coffee and breakfast treats. Registration will be complete by 10:30. There, you will be able to tour the facility, meet our wonderful staff and many dedicated volunteers, as well as interact with the many animals available for adoption.

The tax-deductible registration fee is $25.00 per vehicle and $5.00 per passenger. This fee will also include a lunch ticket! (Group rates are available upon request.) Raffle tickets will be available for you to purchase giving you several opportunities to win great give-a-ways!

FMAS Partners with Local Petsmart!

We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Petsmart to help us adopt some of our homeless animals. The Petsmart on South Willow St. in Manchester features an area where you can see just a few of the cats that we have available for adoption. At various times throughout the week, representatives from FMAS will be on hand to answer your questions and to show animals to the public. Please make sure to visit us next you come in for pet supplies!

PETCO Partnership Adoption Events

PETCO, 1049 So. Willow St., Manchester
Last Saturday of every month, 11 am to 3 pm

On the last Saturday of the month, our volunteers are on hand at PETCO to give you information and answer your questions about FMAS and its residents. We have photos of all of our animals who are available for adoption, and we often bring along some of our wonderful shelter felines. (If you want to know for sure, phone our shelter before coming by at (603) 628-3544.) We also have pet-themed items for sale to help raise money for the care and medical needs of our animals. Please come by and visit us!
